Missions 4 Jesus began in 2004 when God led founding members, Sam Helms, Hasting Jialosi (of Africa) and Marvin Tarlton to help the starving and sick villagers of Lilongwe, Malawi. All three men were involved with previous missions in the area and saw a great need to supply food and medicine to area villages and hospitals. As plans for a missions trip began, Paul Sachack and Jimmy Funderburk joined the team. As the members prayed, God’s vision grew. In November 2004, Missions 4 Jesus Team Members traveled to Africa. During this initial visit to Lilongwe, Malawi hundreds of Africans in several villages and hospitals received much needed relief supplies thanks to many generous supporters and volunteers.

Praise God! The initial mission trip to Malawi was an overwhelming success and a life-changing experience for everyone involved.  Missions 4 Jesus has since grown and formed a 501c Non-profit organization which is overseen by a local group of Board of Directors. All members are non-paid volunteers and 100% of all donations are used to meet the needs of the less fortunate.   Missions 4 Jesus has a long-term VISION to love and support our Malawian brothers and sisters in need.  Mission teams travel to Lilongwe, Malawi yearly with much needed supplies and the love of Christ in their hearts.

With God all things are possible!
